There's a Jojolion infobook that was released some time ago, and there's a Stand section.
This pic is shows a paragraph commenting the inspiration for Speed King's name. Using my nonexistant Japanese, I've come to the conclusion that Araki may have been hesitating between naming it "Sun King" or "Speed King". I'd like to confirm it though.
"As the name of the Stand hasn't been revealed yet, listing the original music reference is not possible. As such, we'd like to make a guess based on the hint of "King" in all the Higashikata Stand names (although much like Paper Moon King, we can't eliminate the possibility that it'll just be a song name + King)
The Beatles - Sun King: Beatles = Beetles, close enough to be the correct answer?
Deep Purple - Speed King: Continuing off of 'Highway Star', it seems like there'd be many possibilities for another Deep Purple music reference?
I assumed the book you were referring to was what you listed on the Les Feuilles page, so I looked into it. According to the 4th page, it seems to be just a fan researched book and isn't associated with Araki or Shueisha.
Question I gotta ask, is there a pm system for the wikia, because I think it's better to have one so the reporting stays anonymous and the person who's reported doesn't go after the reporter or any other user involved.
I'm one of the admins of The Promised Neverland Wiki. I would like to have a partnership (read:affiliation) with your community. This is our wordmark, by the way. If you agree to my proposal, please notify me by replying to the same thread.
I'm looking forward to your positive response. If you have any questions, or if I'm asking in the wrong place, please let me know. Thank you~!
Hey, came to let you know that there's a joke Tumblr blog floating around called "jojowikivandals". Their main goal is to create and post edits of screenshots of the wiki and transform them into something humorous. The admins all know what they're doing and how to make each edited image look believable so no harm is actually done on their part.
However, I'm kinda worried that since the blog is gaining so much traction in the Tumblr JoJo fandom (only took 3 weeks since the blog's conception for their posts to reach the top of the search page for #jjba), non-admins might start making legitimate vandalisms on the wiki for the sake of submitting content to the blog. The blog itself is pretty young, but if it grows to a level of popularity the likes of "outofcontextjojo" and stays relevant for a while, it just might bring about a whole slew of annoying stuff to deal with.
Wanted to hear your thoughts and opinions on the matter. Might want to let me know if I'm overthinking it and aren't giving the admins of the blog enough credit.
As I've been fixing up a few of the pages recently, I realized that it's weird that for the Part 6 and on chapters and volumes that it was decided that overall number in the whole of JJBA is placed as more important over the numbering within that part after the numbering was reset with Part 6. Why is it set up this way still? Particularly as the page titles refer to the part rather than the whole now. I also think the anime episode pages are doing the same thing.
In a wiki that I administrate the infoboxes are displaying as the default Wikia ones, with the font to the left and the boxes themselves boxed. How would I go about centering the font and rounding the edges like the infoboxes on this wiki? Idk if it's the CSS or what.
