I want to let you know that since I've been inactive so long, I'm just gonna make it official and step down from adminship. If you could, since I'll still be around from time to time, can I retain some access just to update various pictures now and then? Aside from that and maybe adding new pages if I'm the first one to get to it, that's all I'll be doing now.
Please make sure the person who inherits the Poll duties documents them in Poll History. That way we still have the memories and remember which ones we've already done in the future.
I'm not sick and I'm okay, jsyk. I just have a full-time job in the near future, working on a small wikia now and a lack of time to really commit here like I once did. If you wanna, we can keep in touch? Just send the word.
I had made a video last month, compiling all the audio clips found in the part 5 ps2 games gallery mode. And wanted to know if it would be okay at all to add it to the article? I wanted to ask, as "Vish ☆ Epic Anime Gaming Empire ☆" has had their videos of the EOH interactions and cut part 6 Jotaro lines added to the EOH article. And thought maybe people curious or looking for the audio clips could have an easier time finding them. As when I've tried looking, I could only find them on NicoNico, and even then it leaves out some characters. If you'd prefer I don't, that's okay, I just wanted to ask first.
Recently the anime profile images have been reverted back to their concept art designs. Since the Part 3 adaptation, we've been using the stat card images as the defacto standard unless one is available. The Part 5 pics have been being reverted solely on the fact that Nabukun said "they look better without the background" and while there's nothing wrong with that opinion, we should go against the formula we've been following for years now just on the basis of one person's opinion.
So I'd like to propose an official addition to the image policy that goes like this when it comes to anime character and Stand profile pictures. This can help prevent edit wars in the future.
- Poster/Blu-ray Covers, this supersedes everything else (i.e. Josuke and Killer Queen's AVs)
- Anime Screenshots/Stat Info cards, these are used until a poster or cover for that character or Stand ever comes out
- Concept Art, this is essentially a placeholder until we get something better quality

It's not quite like that, I've reverted the images because they are in the character models gallery in the Golden Wind page, there's no problem with them being in the infoboxes (at least not for me), the problem is that by replacing them, you are doing this:
I didn't make myself clear. My main concern about the infoboxes pictures is not whether this one looks prettier or this one. What I mind the most is readability, how easy it is to look at the Stand in the infoboxes. Until season 4, the eyecatches had simple enough backgrounds that it didn't affect readability.
However, now the eyecatches have intricate background design that frankly pollutes the image for the infoboxes, especially in the cases of Sex Pistols and Aerosmith. I have trouble discerning their silhouettes with the current images. There's also some kind of filter making the whole image darker, which doesn't help.
So as far as I'm concerned, there's no need to respect any kind of tradition about infoboxes, I just want to make the wikia as convenient to use as possible and I think having these part 5 eyecatches for infoboxes images clearly don't help visitors.
Nabu does have a point. The dark tint on the current eyecatches has also been bugging me for awhile. We should probably just use the Official site concept art for the Stands (their designs don't deviate as much as the characters do), and Promo Art/Blu-ray/screenshots, etc for the characters.
In regards to an infobox image policy (would apply to both manga and anime), this is what I have so far:
A character's face and main features should be clearly visible. A full body is not necessary, however, the image should give the viewer a general idea of the character's attire.
For characters who undergo significant art style changes, an image closer to their finalized designs are preferred. Similarly, the clothes on the character should ideally be the ones they are most commonly seen in.
The transparent images I think deserve some discussion. I don't particularly like them nor do I think they're necessary for images that aren't crowded, but I'd like to hear some other opinions on them.
What should we name the tabs for the Part 5 anime episodes? I was thinking we should split the anime into 2 sections like the other pages on the episode after the King Crimson v Bruno fight. I think we should agree what the two tabs should be called.
Adventuretime, yeah it won't be but we should split it so the tabber list doesn't go on for 39 episodes. It'd be really long. Plus since Seasons 1-3 are split into tabs, we should do the same for the other parts going forward. For continuity's sake.
B4SS, I like those names! Something like that is what I had in mind anyway. Maybe more subtle in the naming though.
There are Stands in the list that aren't works by Araki, but JoJosapiens was involved which was a Stand for a specific event. Scrapper Protein was made for a magazine cover and not made for Jojo purposes, but it is a real creation made by Araki and doesn't make the list when other people's work does. I couldn't figure out how to try and submit an article for this, or submit an article at all, but would like to it become a page.
Hello, I am pleased to announce that we have had our wordmark updated which can be found here.
We do have the first one as part of our wiki history so it should be fine to delete the one in JOJOs affiliates section and replace it with this one that draws entirely on official content and looks much nicer!
(Edit: they had the same name so I overided the other one and that has updated the image in the affiliates section, would it be better if it were added in your name?)
