Pet Shop (ペット・ショップ Petto Shoppu) is a minor antagonist appearing in Part III: Stardust Crusaders.
Appearance/Personality
Pet Shop is highly intelligent and appears to be an accipitridae. It wears a falconry hood adorned with 3 feathers.
A ruthless killer, Pet Shop does not discriminate against any who trespass. It would have killed a small boy if not for Iggy. It also showed no remorse in eating the eyes of two dogs in front of its owner, or hunting down Iggy.
Synopsis
Stardust Crusaders
Pet Shop serves as the guard of Dio Brando's mansion in Egypt. It ruthlessly kills any who may trespass or it deems as suspicious. When it first appeared, Pet Shop decapitates two large dogs with ease and smashes a beggar (employed by Avdol to find Dio's mansion) and his car with his stand. Pet Shop possesses incredible aerial agility and the ability to swim. Ultimately, Pet Shop was killed by Iggy when he bit Pet Shop's beak while activating Horus, effectively killing it. Pet Shop was able to severely injure Iggy by severing his leg in the process.

Much like the original story, Pet Shop appears as one of the last faced enemies. However since it's a RPG game, all the player's party must face the enemy, unlike the manga who Iggy does it alone.

Pet Shop appears as playable character, he only was avaible on the second version of the game foward.
Every Pet Shop's move is based on his ability to create ice, such as throwing Ice Stakes, trap the enemy on the ground with ice or anything related to icicle attacks.
His first special move makes him shoots several ice stakes with a great speed as a projectile attack. His second special move makes him create a giant ice block that comes from above the screen (the same one he did to kill the agent in front of Dio's mansion). His last special move makes Pet Shop appears from the back on the screen, as he shoots even more ice stakes on the opponent, however, it only works as an grab special move.
It's ending on Arcade Mode shows what if Petshop managed to kill all the main heroes. Petshop would have continue to act as Dio Mansion's guardian, as the text says "And Petshop never allowed anyone to come near the Mansion, anyone...".
If hit by Alessi's stand attack, Pet Shop turns into an egg, but still can use it's Stand to make small attacks, implying that Pet Shop was born with its Stand ability.
Pet Shop is widely considered the most powerful character in the game, with incredibly strong special control from his many projectiles and unblockable setups stemming from his overhanging icicle attack. Playing Pet Shop is generally considered "poor taste" and he enjoys the distinction of being at least soft-banned in pretty much every torunament setting.
Pet Shop is also the first bird to appear as a playable character in the fighting game history. Nakoruru (from Samurai Showdown series), who debuted on 1993, possess a bird, but only uses it as part of her attacks.

- Pet Shop is a hawk, but its Stand's namesake is a falcon.
- Originally Pet Shop did not appear until the characters are near Dio's Mansion for his fight with Iggy. The anime retroactively inserts him in place of the parrot that Dio has in Polnareff's flashback during his meeting with Dio.
- Pet Shop was most likely based off the Great Chief of Cassandra's pet, from Hokuto no Ken.
