  • Hey everyone, while CAS is taking some time to recover I thought we should bring back the old stand fights for the downtimes in the SBR event and future events. The rules are the same as last time, and of course you can use any stand you wish. Also, something that I thought would be interesting to try is "non-traditional" stand "fights" as in something akin to the D'arby battles.

    • Also for this I'm going to use a "redone" version of Eat It 

      So here it is, Eat It v2:

      Stats:

      Destructive Power: C

      Speed: B

      Range: C (15 meters) 

      Durability: D

      Precision: B

      Dev. Potential: A

      Appearance: Eat It's head is covered by a cloak of black tattered cloth that extends down to its shoulders. Eat It's nose and mouth are also covered by the same cloth. Below that Eat It's body is thin but muscular, but is featureless and pale purple.

      Abilities:

      Mouth Creation: Eat It can open up any part of its body into a mouth. Within these mouths are extremely sharp teeth capable of cleaving off anything they bite down on, inside the mouth is a gap where things that are eaten are "swallowed" go to. These mouths can also open extremely wide.

      Power Absorbtion by Eating: When a mouth consumes an object or stand Eat It will change its body to match the properties of what was eaten. This includes making the body liquid, gaseous,etc. if the eaten object possessed that property. When Eat It consumes something besides a stand it also loses the damage reflection property of stands.

      [Note: anything from Eat It v1 I didn't mention, such as power loss are not included in this stand]

    • I see... Funnily enough I was planning for there to be a 5th Universe, so this fits in exactly with my plans. In that case, my character will be Joker Joestar from another universe and his stand will be Don't Stop Me Now .

      I don't really care what happens in this universe so long as it exists and my character doesn't die, so the sporadic fighting or whatever you had in mine can continue unimpeded.

    • i've changed DMR, it now has a power that's completely different from it's non-requiem versions

      Stand Name: Double Monk Requiem

      Stand User: Zoeblo

      Personality: DMR will show the user's true emotions through actions.

      Appearance: DMR resembles an athletic tall man made of thick yellow strands that resemble spaghetti. It has no arms but rather, multiple floating hands of any number. It has no facial features.

      Precision: A

      Developmental potential: A

      Abilities:

      Reality bending: The user can change one thing about the universe. The change can be literally anything, but only one change can exist at a time. When a change is reverted it's effects stay, for example if someone was killed due to a change they will stay dead.

      Proximity Synesthesia: Once an opponent comes with the 20 meter range of an individual, they will begin to experience hyper realistic synesthesia. Each angel is set to switch one semsation with another and can only switch those two (For Example: Sound can be switched with feeling. So, if someone were to hear the sound of crackling fire their skin would begin to blister and burn. Or one would be wounded from the sound of a gunshot.) There is no limit to the amount of A & A manifestations creatable, making the range essentialy infinite. 

      Sensation Recording: The user can input a sensation into each A & A. So, within range, a person would hear the sound recorded or smell the scent recorded. The same applies for all other sensation.

      Alright. So i was thinking since your stand involves deep ones that the universe we are in is a lovecraftian one (Great Old Ones exist, R'ley is real etc.). Our characters are fighting over possesion of The Necronomicon (you have it).

      So I park my cab across the street and observe you as i manifest an A&A in my hand. My cab is really old so i already recorded the sound of it backfiring. I set the synethesia to Sound--->Touch and cranked up the volume to the maximum range of effect. 

      (and yes please post stats. i did read it but it would be easier not having to board-hop)

      Namesake: Frog Machine by Infected Mushroom

      Appearance: Frog Machine is a swarm stand that takes on the appearance of multiple robotic tree frogs

      Power: C

      Speed: A

      Range: A (10 km)

      Durability: E

      Developmental potential: A

      Abilities:

      Regeneration - destroying the frogs doesn't transfer damage to the user and new ones will spawn from a hole in the user's abdomen to replace destroyed ones after 10 minutes. Exactly 50 can exist at once.

      Extreme speed

      Very long tongues: The user can use the tongues of inactive frogs as grappling hooks.

      Real hallucinations: The frogs can cause opponents to see hallucinations of the deep ones. These hallucinations will cause real damage to their victims, and can even kill them. Only the victim sees these hallucinations, but everyone sees the wounds they cause. The frog that's causing the hallucinations will become stationary and croaks pretty loudly.

      I continue my way inside and act like i don't notice you. I leave 4 frogs hidden in the first floor and continue to the elevator.

    • You are rapidly exiting my range. So I throw A&A in panic and set it off right outside your building's door. The BANG shatters windows and cracks bricks. (I still miss) I exit my cab. leaving an A & A on the rearview mirror.

      i run and turn left, it's a long hallway so i start running to the end of it, i set off a few frogs on my way and you start to hear croaking, both loud and faint

    • The front of the building explodes with the impact. Taking out two floors. I touch the opposite wall and a line of A&A. Each making the sound of a burning wick the last is an explosion.

      you start to notice some kind of fish people appearing, 4 of them charge at you

    • I start recording the hallucination. I place an A&A on my head. A sight recording of the peviously undestroyed street. I convert it to noise and turn up to max volume in an attempt to drown out the croaking.

    • btw it's not the croaking that causes the hallucination, it's just something that gives away the position of the frogs

      the deep ones swing their claws at you causing painful but shallow wounds

    • I record the pain. I choose another A&A and hold it infront of me. It records and allows me to see unobstructed. I use an expanding stack of A&A to push me up and forward.

      meanwhile i'm climbing the next apartment building by using the tongues of frog machine as grappling hooks

    • I deploy multiple A&A with sight the recording of a grenade going off. I turn them to sight. I then activate two A&A with the sound recording of a river and attach them to the building walls. I turn one to feeling and one to sight. This turns the building to liquid. I ride the swell towards you.

      I then attach an A&A with a boing sound in it to myself. The fists bounce off of me. I crank up the intensity and send the deep ones flying back.

      realizing i can't outrun you i open the necronomicon and attempt to summon yog-sothoth, contacting any of the outer gods is the equivalent of a requiem arrow in this universe but it's based on change, i will roll 2 d6 dices, if the result is greater than 7 i will be granted a requiem stand, if it's less than 7 i will perish with the necronomicon, if it's exactly 7 nothing happens

    • I i set two A&A on my body. One with the sound of water, one with the taste of it. I change one two feel and one to sight. My body turns to a liquid like solution. Making my fall soft.

      The copy giant deep ones I summoned are closing in on you.

      I reform from liquid and attach a rope of A&A to one of the copies. I rapidly deactivte each one by one. Shortening the line and bringing me closer.

      NamesakeDouble Monk by Igorrr

      Appearance: Double Monk is a muscular, humanoid stand. It has light yellow skin with thin black lines running vertically on it's whole body. It has one big vertical eye on it's face and no mouth.

      Ability:

      Velocity copy: Double Monk has the ability to make copies of an object inside the original one. The copies and the original object can separate with great, explosive force. The direction in where the objects will go is controlled by the user. This power can be used remotely after copies are created making it great for assasinations and ranged combat though the user needs to see the object in question

      Restrictions: the stand cannot create objects, only copy existing ones, the stand can only copy objects that the user can hold in their hands. If more than 10 copies are created then the old copies will start to disappear, the stand cannot copy people or body parts. The stand can only create current versions of an object.

      Appearence: Sonic Maze  resembles a very tall, thin humanoid wearing a full-length white lab coat. It wears a blue surgical mask blue rubber gloves and blue safety goggles. It had white hair that sticks straight up in a pineapple-like design. It had no ears, only two haga phones sticking from either side of its head.

      Abilties: "Lost In Infinity"- Once Sonic Maze touches a target, the target in intantly blinded, but only in a way that they are trapped in a plain of endless black, however; the target can still see their hands, and interact with the things they happen to run into.

      Skinner box game- Once the target in enveloped in darkness the clock starts. If the target cannot tag the user within five minutes of being effected, they will be dissected by Sonic Maze. The target must rely on sound to find the user. 

      Limits: The user must keep the target in sight to maintain the effects of Sonic Maze.

      Appearance: Double Monk ACT 2 looks mostly the same but it has multiple eyes around it's body

      Abilities:

      Clay copy: DMA2 can copy any object is sees. These copies can change shape, shrink or grow as the user desires. The copies function properly, even when it should be physically impossible.

    • I start with a simple rush in an attempt to touch you. Sonic Maze jukes to the right and attemps to flank you.

    • DM copies the soles of my shoes and releases the copies launching me 100 meters into the sky, i switch to act 2 and make 10 copies of myself which i hide around the farm

      the impact breaks both of my legs but DMA2 cuts them off and replaces them with copies

    • SM thows scalples at my command.I run into one of the barns grabbing a large pitchfork.

    • the ground grumbles and large sharp pieces of stone jut out of the ground trying to impale you and SM

      my copied legs form into springs and i start jumping around to try and dodge the scalpels, one of them hit me in the right arm

    • I climb atop a tractor to sheild myself from the spikes. I allow a spike to launch Sonic Maze toward you. I toss it the pitchfork and it holds it forth like a lance.

    • DM severs my head with a quick sideways chop and disappears

      the 10 others mes are still after you, i break through one of the barn walls and DM starts attack rushing you and the tractor

    • I recall Sonic Maze and it grabs Double Monk by the back of head. Everything for you instantly turns black. 

      I start the tractor and bust through the barn wall. Mowing down your clones.

    • the clone melts, the other clones multiply to 100

      each me has their own double monk, they pick up nails and rocks off the ground and fire them at the tractor simultaneously, some of the mes get impaled by friendly fire

    • you now have 4 minutes and 45 seconds to tag me. A nail pierces the tractor tire. I keep my eyes on you as SM charges you with a pitch fork. I'm still being pelted with debree.

      50 of the clones assimilate and become a giant, it brings it's fist up, aims for the tractor and brings it down again, SM successfully stabs and touches the giant therefore blinding it but the giant also dies in the process

      the 50 remaining clones multiply to 500, one of them runs off

    • I hide behind a rusted out chevy. SM takes two scalples in and i order it to charge and rapidly stop. It cries "Screeeee!"

    • I copy some of the space debris that rotates earth, make it larger and heavier and shape it into multiple javelins to cause a makeshift orbital strike in the area

      the javelins crash on the ground, i unintentionally kill all but one of myselfs, now's your change

    • SM throws the scalples they stab your feet and pin the to the ground. He grabs two javelins throwing one into your soldier i go in for a direct hit.

    • DMA2 pulls the javelin out and heals the wound, DMA2 starts thrust-rushing SM before throwing the javelin at you

    • The stab wound counts as being touched by SM since it was holding the javelin. You are instantly enveloped in darkness. SM throws a scalpel. knocking the javelin off cource.

    • I dodge and lock myself in the farmhouse. Looking out the window to make sure I can still see you. The countdown has started. Sonic Maze begins making noises to distract your attention.

    • the javelin starts splitting into multiple javelins, some of them burrow underground and cause javelins to rise from the grounds while others fly in the air and shoot copies of themselves everywhere

    • in my desperation i turn to listening, while SM is getting showered with javelins, i try to listen for something that's out of place

    • I throw a pebble and it hits a metal cistern. Sonic Maze takes cover in an outhouse.

    • i hear the clang but i also hear the faint noise of a door opening

      i start slowly making my way for the outhouse

    • Sonic Maze busts through the back of the outhouse. Sonic tosses tw scalples to pin your feet. I dart through the back door and attempt to start an old pickup. I'm having trouble. Meanwhile sonic maze manage to bust the toilet by tearing out a few pipes ths causes water to shoot out like a fountain obscuring most noise like. Sonic Maze then makes a b line away from my location. (btw you have to touch me not Sonic Maze)

      You now have 2 min and 57 secs

    • i forcefully lift my feet, causing open wounds on my feet, DM mends my wounds

      the noise of the water surprises me but SM is fast enough to affect air pressure around it, i head in SM's direction

      i'm trying to incapatitate SM, if i do that you'll go unconscious too and you won't be able to run anymore

      BTW an outhouse is basically just an upgraded version of a hole in the ground so there are no pipes involved

      i feel that it's corn so i grasp one stalk can make DMA2 copy it's heat until it starts burning
